Also known as Fingertip Medicine, Shiatsu therapy is a form of Acupressure that has been a cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for nearly 5,000 years. Its continued use today speaks volumes about its effectiveness in relieving pain and treating various ailments.
Acupressure is based on the same principles as acupuncture but actually predates it by around 2,500 years. It works by stimulating specific points on the body to influence the entire nervous system, promoting balance and healing without the use of needles.
Instead, therapists use their hands, elbows, or even knees to apply pressure, rub, and manipulate the skin, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The massage can range from gentle strokes to deep tissue work.
Under the acupressure umbrella are related techniques like Reflexology and Auriculotherapy, which focus on specific micro systems within the body.
Tui Na is a traditional Chinese healing art that combines deep massage and manipulation to promote overall well-being. Rooted in Chinese Taoist principles, Tui Na aims to restore balance within the body. The name comes from two key techniques: tui, meaning to push, and na, meaning to lift and squeeze.
Our Tui Na Meridian massage is based on the theory of meridians and acupoints from Traditional Chinese Medicine. By applying targeted pressure to specific points, we encourage the smooth flow of Qi and blood, helping the body regain its natural and harmonious circulation.
Cupping is a traditional technique in Chinese medicine that uses cups to create suction on the skin. This is done by removing air from the cups through methods like burning fire or pumping, which creates a negative pressure that draws the cup onto specific acupoints or areas of the body. This suction causes local skin congestion and improves blood flow to help prevent and treat various conditions.
Also known as "suction tube therapy," cupping was historically referred to as the "horn method." Depending on the patient's needs, cupping can be performed in different styles, including flash cupping, moving cupping, retained cupping, and pricking cupping.
This traditional external therapy, popular among Chinese communities, combines the application of Chinese herbal medicine with ginger to effectively treat rheumatic bone disease, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other chronic pain conditions.
It is a gentle and safe treatment designed to help restore the body’s natural balance.
Ginger herbal therapy may provide relief from persistent pain that has often been overlooked or undiagnosed by conventional medicine.

Stepping on the back
"Stepping on the back" is a massage technique where the therapist primarily uses their feet to treat the patient. This method involves the therapist applying pressure by stepping on specific areas and meridian points along the back.
The key features of this technique include using the soles or heels to continuously press certain points, as well as performing rhythmic rubbing, rolling, and kneading motions that generate warmth in the treated areas. This helps to open up the meridians, improve blood circulation, regulate the flow of Qi, reduce fat, relieve fatigue, and address sub-health conditions.
Because the soles of the feet provide strong, evenly distributed pressure, this deep massage method is highly effective for promoting overall health and well-being.
Hot stone therapy is a specialised massage technique that uses smooth, flat basalt stones heated to a soothing temperature. The therapist begins by warming your muscles with essential oils gently massaged into your skin. The heated stones retain warmth, allowing the therapist to massage deeply, easing muscle tension, reducing pain, and boosting circulation.
The heat helps relax your muscles more effectively, relieving lingering stress and anxiety. With slow, gentle strokes, the therapist creates a deeply comforting experience that leaves you feeling calm, relaxed, and peacefully sleepy.
Deep tissue massage is a key element in many massage styles, including Thai Traditional, Swedish, Sports, and Lymphatic Drainage massages. It involves slower, firmer strokes and focused pressure to target tension deep within your muscles. Using deep finger pressure, the therapist works along or across muscle and tendon fibers, often combined with warming oils and body stretching techniques similar to yoga.
This approach helps increase flexibility, relieve muscular and joint tension, and is especially effective for people experiencing muscle pain or fatigue from physical activity.
Our goal is to relax your body, mind, and muscles while easing any aches or pains you may have, leaving you feeling both refreshed and calm.
This massage is ideal for first-timers or anyone looking to reduce stress. Your therapist will work at a gentle pace, applying light pressure to ensure a soothing, deeply relaxing experience.
Swedish massage employs gentle, superficial techniques designed to promote overall relaxation and well-being. This treatment can help with:
Reducing muscle tension
Calming the nervous system to ease anxiety and depression
Enhancing blood circulation
Boosting lymphatic drainage
Supporting overall health and wellness
